On-site guided tour focused on the heritage of the 1970s and 1980s progressive architecture – the works of the studio SIAL, in particular the shopping centre Uran/Banco (Emil Přikryl) and the cultural centre Crystal (Jiří Suchomel) on the occasion of the festival Den Architektury 2013.
In its existence endangered Uran/Banco was a topic of the subsequent debate of the author – Emil Přikryl, the architect Jiří Suchomel, with the mayor of Česká Lípa Hana Smutná and Josef Smutný, deputy of the Czech Architect’s Chamber. The purpose was to discuss the possible solutions for the sustainable reuse of the building. Discussion was moderated by Richard Biegel. Subsequently a mini-exhibition on the building was organised in the local Museum for Natural History.
